Paramount+ to have a watch-party feature on FaceTime

WWDC is just getting started and some cool features are coming.

Apple shared a new feature for FaceTime called SharePlay. It allows a shared viewing experience during FaceTime calls.

Paramount+, Pluto TV, and among other partners will use this feature to share video content.

Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of Software Engineering, walked through the feature, which is very similar to the watch-party feature on other streaming services.

FaceTime is available on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, (I)Mac(book), and coming soon on Android and the web but the new feature will come on a later date.

Will you be using this feature on FaceTime?
