WATCH: The Cast Of 'Monster High 2' Presented Its Teaser Trailer At the Kids Choice Awards

 

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem not only got its teaser teased at the Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday, but backstage, the cast of the live-action Monster High movie franchise, Miia Harris, Ceci Balagot, Nayah Damasen, and Case Walker, presented KCA spotlights to new sitcom Erin & Aaron, new Nick Jr. cartoon Bossy Bear (which premiered Monday), and finally, their upcoming sequel.

In the thirty-second sneak peek, Headless Headmistress Bloodgood welcomes students back for another year, as Clawdeen (Harris), Frankie Stein (Balagot), and Draculaura (Damasen) reunite. The girls are hanging out, the guys are fist-bumping and handshaking and a bit of one of the musical numbers is shown, setting the soundtrack for the rest of the teaser. Filming was stated to have recently wrapped.

Monster High The Movie premiered on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ on October 6, 2022. It was the No. 1 kids and family movie on the service during its launch week and reached more than 4 million total linear viewers across its premiere weekend, leading to the greenlight of the sequel less than three weeks later. It's still very early in the year so it's reasonable that there's no release date, especially at a time when premiere dates tend to be announced within 60 days before release. as happened with Bossy Bear in February and Erin & Aaron on Saturday. Still, the release model for Monster High 2 is expected to be replicated, as has also been done with A Loud House Christmas and Snow Day over the last couple of years.
