In case you hadn't heard, a new Indiana Jones movie is coming out next month. It's the first under Disney since they bought Lucasfilm in late 2012. The first four films were distributed by Paramount. It is In 2013 Disney bought future franchise rights, with the stipulation that Paramount would receive “financial participation on any future films that are produced and released” under Disney. It’s why before even seeing how that entails onscreen, the Paramount Pictures logo is on Dial of Destiny posters.

During The Walt Disney Company’s Upfront presentation on Tuesday, they had a Lucasfilm segment presented by company president Kathleen Kennedy. It was in fact Lucasfilm's first upfront. She revealed, most pertinently, that on May 31, Disney+ will be receiving all four previous Indiana Jones movies: Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost ArkIndiana Jones and the Temple of DoomIndiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. But don't worry, Paramount+ subscribers, there's no talk of exclusivity, short-term or long-term, so the two services will be sharing the films for the foreseeable future.

The move brings Indiana Jones with its Lucasfilm brethren on streaming, especially Star Wars, which has blossomed with the existence of the streamer. Even Willow got a series there and Indy might too. So continue watching Indiana Jones on Paramount+, your options have grown.
