The megaconglomerates of Warner Bros. Discovery and Disney received 181 and 163 respectively. How did Paramount fare? Well, it's in the title, let's break it down.
Starting with Paramount+ itself, Star Trek: Picard received two nominations for makeup: Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (Non-Prosthetic) and Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup. The dearly departed Grease: Rise Of The Pink Ladies received two nominations as well in Outstanding Choreography for Scripted Programming. Tulsa King was nominated for Outstanding Stunt Coordination for Comedy Series or Variety Program, Last Flight Home was nominated for Exceptional Merit in Documentary Filmmaking, and the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert was nominated for Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special.
Showtime landed eight nominations. Four of them were earned by George & Tammy: Jessica Chastain for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, Michael Shannon for Outstanding Lead Actor in Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, Outstanding Cinematography for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, and Outstanding Period Costumes for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. Breakout hit Yellowjackets has garnered Outstanding Drama Series, a nomination for Melanie Lynskey for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, and Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series. The L Word: Generation Q received one nomination, for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics.
CBS Television Network and CBS Studios earned 22 nominations. The Amazing Race received five of them: Outstanding Reality Competition Program, Outstanding Directing for a Reality Program, Outstanding Cinematography for a Reality Program, Outstanding Picture Editing for a Reality Program, and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Reality Program. The 65th Grammys received nominations for Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special, Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction for a Variety Special, and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety Special. The Late Show With Stephen Colbert is nominated for Outstanding Talk Series once again, Outstanding Directing for a Variety Series, and Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series. The 75th Tonys also received a nomination for Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction for a Variety Special as well as Outstanding Variety Special. FBI: Most Wanted received two nominations in stunt categories, Outstanding Stunt Performance, and Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Drama Series, Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, a category in which S.W.A.T. is also nominated. The Price is Right is nominated for Outstanding Game Show. For CBS Studios shows Apple TV's Carpool Karaoke: The Series is nominated for Outstanding Short Form Comedy, Drama or Variety Series, and Netflix's Dead to Me received Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Christina Applegate.
