Paramount+ Picks Up ‘Colin From Accounts' Season 2

If you’ve been a fan of one of Paramount+’s international series and have been wondering whether the show will have a second season, let alone if the streamer will keep everything together, those fears can be put to rest. Australian hit Colin From Accounts has officially had its second season picked up.

Production has already begun on the new season, with Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer returning to write, executive produce and star. The series began with Ash (Dyer) spontaneously flashing her nipple at Gordon (Brammall), causing him to hit and injure a dog with his car. By the end of the first season, the incident sparked a romance between the “flawed but funny” Ash and Gordon that blossomed. Meanwhile, that now-disabled dog they have grown to love, and from whom the series gets its name, has new owners from whom the couple must pull off a rescue.

Colin From Accounts quickly won over audiences with its quirky, relatable storylines and lovable characters,” said Jeff Grossman, who is Paramount+’s Executive Vice President of Programming. “Patrick and Harriet are crafting another phenomenal season, and we can’t wait to share what is next for Ashley, Gordon and Colin.” Brammall and Dyer, who also serve as executive producers added “We’re super excited that Paramount+ has the good taste and exquisite judgment to renew us for another season.” Season 1 debuted on the streamer in November.

The series also stars Emma Harvie as Megan, Helen Thomson as Lynelle, Genevieve Hegney as Chiara, Michael Logo as Brett and Tai Hara as James. Commissioned by the Foxtel Group and co-produced by Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios, season two is distributed outside of Australia and New Zealand by Paramount Global Content Distribution. Co-production with an international partner helps to keep things cheap with global distribution rights affording larger companies like CBS Studios parent Paramount Global to sell the series internationally.
