The series stars Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock, Rebecca Romijn, as Una Chin-Riley, Celia Rose Gooding as Nyota Uhura, Jess Bush as Nurse Christine Chapel and features Carol Kane as Pelia and Paul Wesley as James T. Kirk aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. This season saw the crew confront increasingly dangerous stakes, explore uncharted territories, and continue their own personal journeys that continue to strengthen their determination, redefine their destinies, facing allies and foes both new and familiar.
The DVD and Blu-Ray sets are four discs each while the 4K UHD set is three discs. As for the special features, the featurettes alongside the deleted, extended, and alternate scenes are called “Producing Props”, “The Costume Closet”, “The Gorn”, the obvious “Subspace Rhapsody” gusher “Singing In Space” and “Exploring New Worlds”.
The 4K UHD and Blu-ray Limited Edition Steelbooks include a “Subspace Rhapsody” poster, while the 4K UHD also includes a set of four exclusive character magnets that will let owners customize the key art with their favorite character.
