'The Madison' Official Trailer Released With Ironhearted Release Plan

Oh hey, it’s time for a new Taylor Sheridan series, heck Yellowstone spinoff to hit Paramount+. This time, it’s The Madison starring Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer, a little over a month after its teaser trailer debuted after Landman season 2 concluded. The trades concede that this trailer features a lot of the same footage as the teaser, as the series heads toward its March 14 premiere.

“You’ll have as much life as you’ll allow yourself,” Russell’s Preston Cluburn says to Pfeiffer’s Stacy who later says. “Mine is not a family designed to withstand tragedy.” But it is indeed tragedy that serves as the impetus for the series as the family moves from Manhattan to the Madison River valley of central Montana after suffering such a tragedy. The series also stars Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova, Matthew Fox and features Will Arnett as a recurring guest star.

That March 14 premiere date is for the first three episodes, and will be followed by three episodes on March 21. While it sounds very similar to how Disney+ rolled out Ironheart this past summer, a second season has not only already been ordered, but filmed. However it’s unclear if it’s another six-episode set. Produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions, these six episodes are directed by Christina Alexandra Voros, who executive produced with Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Michael Friedman, Pfeiffer, Russell and Keith Cox.
